In a new interview with Variety, Johnson revealed that initial filming has wrapped on Madame Web and also revealed what it was like filming the project.
There hasn't been any word on if the film has wrapped filming, but it seems that at least initial filming has wrapped according to one of the films stars. While there has been no official word on what the movie is about, there have been rumors that some of them are playing variants of the titular character while Scott is playing Ben Parker. Madame Web stars Dakota Johnson, Sydney Sweeney, Emma Roberts, Isabela Merced, and Adam Scott. The studio is also developing series based on their Spider-Man lineup in a partnership with Amazon, and they will start off with a series that will be focused on Silk. Sony Pictures has been hard at work on developing a cinematic universe surrounding their lineup of Spider-Man characters and they've already released or finished filming projects like Venom: Let There Be Carnage, Morbius, Kraven the Hunter and now Madame Web.
